‘Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie’ continues a journey that was last left off over ten years ago. Arnold Shortman is a 10-year-old calm & optimistic boy who resides in the city of Hillwood where he faces everyday life and challenges along with his neighborhood friends who he also attends school with. He lives in a boarding house with his paternal grandparents and other non-relative residents, who he considers to be family since he grew up living with them. Everything may seem quite alright in Arnold’s world, but throughout the series, we learn that there is a deep curiosity that he faces. Arnold wants to know what happened to his parents. Stella & Miles Shortman are Arnold’s mother & father, who dropped him off with Phil & Gertrude when he was a small child to go help the people of San Lorenzo, who are suffering from a terrible illness. As they flew off in the plane to begin their journey, Stella & Miles were never heard from again.
